Our Process

How We Pull Teeth

If we decide that a tooth extraction is the best option for you, we’ll start by numbing the area with a local anesthetic. This will numb both the tooth and the surrounding gum tissue to keep you from feeling any sharp pain during the extraction. You may feel some pressure which is common.

Dr. McGowen has a special set of instruments that she uses to loosen the tooth gradually and remove it from the area. In some cases, we will place dissolvable stitches to close up the area after treatment.
